I see 21" clearly. None the less that places you .5" away from tying for first. I know you are saying 21.5" and I would love to give to you for the tie but that fish bottom lip is clearly resting on 21". Let's see what the rest say, and if they give it you then I will. Nice fish regardless. Quote

Super User BassinLou Posted December 22, 2013 Author Super User Posted December 22, 2013 Had a fun and productive day today. I ventured out to West Broward to my good friend's honey hole. Some time ago Geo G, a BR member, and I met up at this location and today the spot paid off for me. Thanks George!! The fish were on and off but I managed to catch several. I caught a 20", 19" and 16". The 20 and 16 were caught on a u-vibe worm burning on top and the 19 was caught deadsticking a BPS stickworm. I finally caught my limit of 5 and was able to cull. Giving me a total of 88.5". We still have 10 days left in December and I am on vacation. On top of that I still have my glades trip next week. Jacob, don't start you're victory speech yet. 20" 20" Held up 19" 16" 2 Quote

fishingator Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 You guys are killing it! I think my only hope hangs in the balance next weekend. We are going to fish a new spot we scoped out a while back but hadn't gotten to. Idk...hopefully I will show up with something. January is going to be tough with the wedding in early feb. My SO is going to be torn after that as we are the proud new owners of a 79 trans am that needs a little work Quote

Super User MCS Posted December 22, 2013 Super User Posted December 22, 2013 The real PIG is coming today. :respect-059: Good luck, while Joe is the guy most of us are rooting for, you have certainly made this interesting both dialog and fishing wise. I myself have been very busy and when I do get out it is short and difficult so watching you guys this month has been entertaining and envious for me. I did see after you win your gonna hang em up and that this comp sorta takes the fun. I agree with you on that after probably six months of doing it I am ready for a month of 100's of 10-14" fish lol. Merry Christmas Quote

A little trash talk gets people going. BUT seriously, I am having fun and hope no one is taking any thing personal. Merry Christmas to all at BR and I wish you the best fishing trips you have ever had. After this, win or lose, I'm really going to fish for fishing sake and enjoy the bass acrobatics and jumping shows. God Bless all and Merry Christmas. Quote
