Ok, Dec 1, a new month and i could not sit at home and my son wanted to go fishing, so off we go, and the same story as always he get the most and biggest fish lol, :laugh5:

we started at 12:30 and fished till 4:00, cloudy, water temp 70, we trolled crankbaits, kvd from walmart, 1.5 in sexy shad and a green one they had. he score big today 8 fish to my 2

Joe's fish for today 20 1/2, 15 1/2, 15, 16, 21 =88
mutt fish for today 16, 18 1/2 = 34 1/2

The rules clearly state that trying to mislead the competition will lead to a DQ. Joe is professional fisherman in a small disguise. LOL... That's  awesome!! 88" on the first day of the month!! Now its catch up for the rest of us. I love it. Mutt you must be beaming from ear to ear. Great job Joe!! How old is he again?

I told my son we were going to glades again next Saturday and he was jumping up and down all excited. Those moments are awesome.

I am in as well, went out this evening with (unplanned) ak and czar. Caught one small guy on the crank debated measuring but since it was my first cast I thought I'd get some better, and wrong I was.

Dsidle, I got you down.

Way to go Joe! I am pulling for you this month. Isn't the measure of a man is how well he taught his son(s) you have done a fine job thus far mutt. I would give anything for my boy to throw up numbers like that! He is 7 right now, hopefully in 2 yrs lol

Man mutt everytime I take my boy out it is always a tough day, with a rare good day. I would love to talk more about this, I will pm if I get a chance this week, business travel :(. You may be able to help teach this dog a few tricks to get my boy on fish ;)

thats the way it was all summer for us, everytime he would go we would have a bad day, then nov hits and cool temps and the fish are on,

it did help that i found a lake that seems to have alot of fish, but not to many big big fish, 22 seems like biggest in there, but he loves it, i spend all my time unhooking fish etc..... i am 53 yo and i feel like kid when we fish,  i trully believe what they say about teaching kids to fish, no better bonding time then this :respect-059:

My son is 7, he likes going to Everglades because he gets to sit on his uncle's lap and drive the boat. On a 25HP and 3 people its not going too fast. LOL. But to a 7 yr old he's on top of the world.

And looks like you are the leading vote getter to take over Lou's position as quarter back, you have my vote too

OK, but I'm gonna throw some curve balls to make this a real challenge.

Sounds good to me a few twists new winners would be a cool. I am down with it. We are just going to miss Lou's personable manner :P

So do you have any results or totals for the lure tracking statistics?

Okeechobee bound in the am! Byahhhwww!!

How'd you do at Okeechobee?

I have always wanted to fish there, it's my dream spot! I heard one average the lake is very shallow which is perfect for the way I like to fish. I have seen numerous monsters pulled out of there on a consistent basis on YouTube and tournaments on TV.

We will have a new winner this month! I am trying to focus on catching my trophy fish BEFORE they start to spawn. I will give write ups to contribute to the lure thing LGM is doing but as my usual writes up go it will be the same thing lol, instead of frogs it will be cranks and spinnerbaits because that is what they have been wanting towards the end of November.

Have been bringing out my gopro with me so when I do I will have the footage. Trying to get the hang of the video editing thing but it is all foreign to me lol.

a question for everyone, do you read/use the solunar tables when planning a fishing trip, have you noticed anything about good vs bad days

I myself have noticed more activity on strong solunar days, but that does'nt mean i will catch more fish :laugh5:

just wondering????

Yes I do, but also keep this in mind, it is a tool just like your rods/reels, fishfinders, and the like.

I don't, my fishing time is so limited, that I go when I am able to go.
