I plan on going bass fishing as much as I can for the rest of the year but I don't know if it's to cold to go out with my boat. I have a 19 ft fiberglass bass boat and the water in the lake is about 30 degrees. Do you guys think it's safe to take it out now? Thanks

the only thing I would "worry" about is if your ramp is smooth concrete..... if it is you want to watch for ice on the ramp. You don't want a ramp story to tell!

It's never too cold to fish for bass. Most people just don't have the cohonies to get out there. You do, however, have to start your motor on as low an idle as possible, and let it run for a while to warm it up to avoid block freeze. Then don't run wide open, and keep those RPM's low. And yeah, watch those ramps!
