jkroosz Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 As if the fish factory needs to be better, gobies have been confirmed. Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 That is terrible news. Another invasive species that will that will change the ecosystem and alter it forever. People have to stop moving fish. Next thing you'll hear is there is Asian Carp in Oneida...... Quote
wnybassman Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 People have to stop moving fish. Oneida is connected to the Great Lakes system by rivers and canals, it was just a matter of time. Tournament results for limits of smallies the last couple years seem to have an increase in weight from past years. Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Gobies certainly grow big bass no doubt there. They love to eat fish eggs though. You pull a bass off a bed and gobies can quickly pick it clean. Not to mention the effects gobies have on fish species other then bass. Quote
