mattk22 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 The insert of one of my Veritas guides came out. How can I fix it, can I just glue it back in? what kind of glue do I need? Quote
sprint286 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I fixed one of mine a long time ago I put the insert on the sharp end of a pencil and super glued it back in place . 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 25, 2013 Super User Posted November 25, 2013 If it's not chipped, you can temporarily fix it by gluing it back in with super glue. The proper fix is having the whole guide replaced. It's not too pricey. I have a local guy (his wife, actually) that rewraps new guides for the few I break every season. 1 Quote

X2, the "right" way to fix this is to replace the guide. Quote

OK Bass Hunter Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Time to send it in for warranty work and buy a new one while the old one is out for warranty work. Quote
