Do they really prevent rust? I just switched all my boxes over to these..Aside from the rust prevention they seem to be of very good quality and very reasonably priced. Quality latches and dividers compared to my old planos.

I like Flambeau boxes. They seem to prevent rust. The planos that came with my 727 do not. :)

The boxes directly do not.  It's the inserts that do the job.  You can get similar inserts for almost any plastic box.

Flambeau does not have inserts like some of the plano boxes do. I have a few and they have been good boxes and I havent had any rust but i havent had them for more then 6 months but so far so good

i use plano boxes and never had any rust. packs of silica gel and making sure tackle is dry when you put it away always helps too.

Sorry guys, but the only flambeau boxes that I know are the ones that are carried to illuminate Mardi Gras night parades in New Orleans.

Lift up that tee shirt and catch some beads!!!  :)   :D   :D

i switched to all flambeau boxes this spring and have been pretty impressed. like you said they are good quality and a good price. they have kept my feshwater tackle completely devoid of rust.

more importantly and more impressive is they have kept my two boxes of saltwater hard baits completely free of rust.

THAT is impressive... beleive me.
