guitarkid Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 I just had a jig weedguard fall out, What is the best way to fix it? Would Suoer glue be ok? -gk Quote
Carrington Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 super glue works, but i prefer gorrilla glue's 5min epoxy, put that on and hold it in place for 5 mins and then let it dry over night. Quote

Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted October 18, 2010 Super User Posted October 18, 2010 super glue works....sort of. Use an epoxy. There are tons of choices of fairly inexpensive two part epoxies that you just squirt out and mix with a toothpick or something and you're done. Gorilla Glue will work as well. Be forewarned, Gorilla Glue will expand as it dries. Don't go overboard with it. Quote
River Rat316 Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 If its a regular fg30 weedguard (1/8" ) take a 1/8" drill bit, dremmel tool works perfect, and clean out the hole first, no need to go overboard but whatever epoxy or glue you use will go alot farther if its glued to a nice clean surface Quote

Siebert Outdoors Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 use a gel or an epoxy. Otherwise you run the risk of it shooting up the fibers and making a solid weedgaurd at the bottom. Quote
