kLuo Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 What colors do you guys use for the straight tail worms? I always wondered what these worms are supposed to imitate: worm or baitfish? Quote
fishinflip415 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Can't go wrong with any of the roboworms stuff and also I love the zoom tiny brush hog. This year I have experimented with drop shotting bigger worms and have done well with the zoom trick worm Quote
EastTexasBassin Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Well I guess I'm the only weirdo that dropshots a craw. The ragetail baby craw has been my most productive dropshot bait by far. A cut-tail thumper is pretty good too. Quote

I don't think the color is as important as the action these baits give. 2 of my favs are the Senko and the Zoom Trick Worm, the senko looks best if you can get it falling vertically as often as possible with little or no weight added and the trick worm is tough to beat on a shaky head. Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted October 18, 2010 Super User Posted October 18, 2010 What colors do you guys use for the straight tail worms? I always wondered what these worms are supposed to imitate: worm or baitfish? Primarily a baitfish mimic. Colors: Light, medium, dark. I don't get too specific with colors. Just use something in one of the three primary shades and you should be fine. Quote
fishermantony Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 4 inch Renegade curly tail worm with the tail cut off wacky rigged has been by far my most productive drop shot bait this year. Bought from Walmart a couple of years ago and never threw them until about a month ago. Glad I opened them up! Quote
