Super User flyfisher Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 If the timing is right and I am able to attend, i will be kayaking it so no worries for me about not having enough boats...I may even have a second one for someone to borrow depending on how nice my bonus is this year Quote

Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 I for one do not ask for money. As I stated in the last one... if a non-boater offers and insists... I will but I do not expect or require payment. I will be out there no matter what. I do agree with the break it/buy it rule. Just common sense. I would prefer Smith Mountain as we did Anna before but will not quibble over it. Fishing is fishing. I would love another shot at SML , she skunked me the last time , I want revenge !!! Thoughts on a rotation or a single place to hold it each year ? Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 But what are your thoughts on where and do you want to have a rotation ? I am smack dab in the middle of the state so i have no preference other than it being semi kayak friendly. I usually don't fish bigger water with bigger boats but that by no means i won't it is more a product of where i am now there is a plethora of rivers and electric only lakes to fish. Quote

Super User Nitrofreak Posted January 11, 2014 Super User Posted January 11, 2014 Yes , a permanent place to hold a meet and greet once a year or should we have a few and rotate each year , say we do SML this year , next year will be , Potomac , next year following , Anna , next , Claytor and start over again the following . If an opportunity presents itself , I will call you and get my butt down there again !! Quote
Zoff Posted January 11, 2014 Author Posted January 11, 2014 I agree in a rotation... I am going to SML Sunday... Quote

BassinBee Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Sounds like a good time and the rotation makes the most sense to try and accommodate all. We are heading to Anna tomorrow.... Quote
