I am going to have some pre rapala wiggle warts painted for personal use and posibly resale.

I know I like Bluegill but what is a good desirable craw pattern. Red seems to be popular and hard to find.

I have some brown craw and baby bass already

Thanks...

Those look great.

How about. Black with a row of purple dots. That would be killer I bet. Might do flat charcoal for the base color then gloss black outline. With purple dots tward the nose some where. Craws I found in a lake here had purple dots on them down the claws it think it was. Wish I'd payed more attention to them. And Remembered.

Never even seen a crank bait black blue or purple before. But it's best jig color here.i

I like orange and red for stained water. And I'd bet brown would be good for clear.

If I could afford it I'd buy and three of those colors.

If your Warts are original Storm in the package, you are better off selling them as is.

WRB is right about leaving original warts in their package if all you plan to do with them is resell them.  It's the only way collectors want them because the model number on the package guarantees they are the original wart and not one of several later models.  If you are going to repaint and fish them, I think the most popular color is ghost crawfish.

I wouldn't repaint them if you plan to resell. There is a good market for pre rapala warts here in the ozarks. But most guys use local painters who are familiar with what works around here. The paint job may actually hurt the value.

Just be sure they have "wiggle wart" under the bill and not storm. If they are v37 or 38, v62 or 63 they will bring the most Those I would never repaint unless the paint just wears off..

The old Missouri craw was always one of my favorites!! I wish I had back all the warts I have lost in the timber of Table Rock over the years. Take a look at OSS custom baits. he makes all my stuff...trust me I have a boat load! I have no affiliation with him but a custom bad ass crank bait for 12.50 is not a bad deal anymore. he'll make you anything you want and repaint other baits as well.

The ones I want to repaint, the paint is totally shot and not desirable colors anyway. They have clear bills that I polised to nice and clear. I have KVD hooks to go on them too.

Someone mentioned Trey Harpel for painting. I will heck out his work and prices.

What are they worth in original packaging? I probably have like 20 unopened packages at my moms place from when I was a kid.

I use a couple local guys around Table Rock , Either Tim Hughes or Rob McGilvrey . Tim has a web site, I don't think Rob does but I can pass on his cell # if you pm me. They both do outstanding work at a reasonable price.

Any of these colors and you'll sell them in no time, or catch a bunch of fish on them, whichever your prefer.
