I am wanting to buy a new jerkbait, specifically a LC pointer. I fish mainly the Tennessee river chain from wheeler to pickwick. There are so many choices I don't know what to get. Can someone give me some advice on a good choice to start with?

My favorites so far have been the Pro Blue and the Auora Black. I was given the recommendation of Chartreuse Shad as well. So far its been a pretty good but I haven't landed anything really picture worthy on it yet.

I left all my jerkbaits at home the other day except for the one in my truck. It was a Cosmic Shad by Luck E Strike. I don't see a similar color with the Pointers, but I caught 7 over 2 pounds in less than an hour with it.

My favorite colors are ghost minnow and american shad. Although I sure most of them would work just fine. I mostly fish the 78s though.

Chartreuse shad would probably be my pick if I could only have one pointer for all conditions.

TN river main forage is threadfin shad. Best option would be one with some chartreuse. Just sayin! :)
