Do you remember where you were and what you were doing when the President was shot in Dallas? You do if you are in your 50s and older.

 

I was in Mrs. Caparo's social studies class at Fortier High School in New Orleans when she went to the classroom door, opened it and someone told her something and she turned t the class and said "the president has been shot."

 

Will never forget it even though Fortier was not reopened after Katrina I can still find my seat in that classroom should I ever venture into that building again.

 

With all the hype about the 50th Anniversary of the Kennedy assassination I thought back to the breakfast my best friend and I had with Frenchy Brouillete, a Cajun country boy who was on a 50-year-long sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll bender as the New Orleans Mafia’s sex rackets chief and statewide political fixer.

 

Frenchy told us all about the Mafia's involvement in the Kennedy adventure and he knew everyone associated with the case who lived or traveled through New Orleans. And he autographed my copy of his book, along with the other two wise guys.

 

It was an honor to meet Frenchy and his two wise guy friends. Their stories had us on the floor in laughter. Those mafia guys were funny and what they did to each other is beyond comprehension.

 

If you can find a copy of his book, Mr. New Orleans, please read it and study his chapter on the Kennedy assassination.

 

Frenchy told us that Carlos Marcello, the New Orleans mafia don who was given the job by the two Chicago families, told him that they screwed up and should have taken out Bobby and not Jack.

 

Frenchy knew Oswald and on one occasion he was asked by Carlos to leave the room as Oswald walked in. In fact, Frenchy knew all the people involved with the plot, including Jack Ruby and Jim Garrison. Garrison knew what happened but could not prove it. Carlos made Garrison look like a fool.

 

Growing up in New Orleans and the French Quarter the book gave me insight on what was going on back in the 60's which I never realized was going on. There were so many places my friends and I frequented in and out of the Quarter that were Mafia controlled that we had no idea. Everyone was friendly and to say the least it was "unusual" growing up in New Orleans during that time. And I believe Frenchy 100% and not the Warren Report.

My mom and dad were alive, think they were 14. They been watching the conspiracy stuff, they were telling me about the one where this gun expert thought the fatal shot came from the secret service guy, think the name was Hickey, in the car behind. He tripped the safety to his AR and accidently shot a round that hit JFK in a scramble after the first shots were fired. Thought it was an interesting and plausible story. Especially with the obvious difference in the two rounds that hit JFK.

The question is who got Oswald to the USA from Mexico and pull it off and why?

Yes New Orleans played a major role during that time period.  By Garrison's claims depicted by Oliver Stone (I loved that movie) there was a relationship between anti and pro Castro forces and the assassination.  That theory has been raked over coals, it makes sense but it is a movie.  Contrary I don't believe the Warren Report and I don't think Oswald acted alone, those 3 shots in rapid succession and the angle of the magic bullet, makes me scratch my head wondering over that.  There is someone out there that does know if still alive, I'm sure there is documented evidence telling all, we may never find out though.  The powers to be will tell us what they want us to know, not everything they know.

I was 18 at the time in my 1 st year at Univ of Mich, I remember the reaction all over campus like it was yesterday.

Seems the Kennedy administration led by Bobby Kennedy had the Mafia help them try to knock off Castro. The lady infiltrated the Castro organization and had the poison to administer to Castro but got cold feet and did nothing.

 

There was also bad blood between the anti-Cuban forces that raided the island and Jack who refused to send in air support and we know how that turned out.

 

When Bobby and J. Edgar Hover decided to go to war with organized crime, after all the help the Mafia had given the Kennedy's on the Castro affair and other activities, the two Chicago families decided to take Jack out. They contacted Carlos Marcello as he had strong ties to central and South America plus the loony's in Louisiana. Remember, the anti-Castro people had a training camp in Louisiana outside of Lake Pontchartrain in addition to their camps in Florida so there were people Carols could rely on for help.

 

This is when Carlos' people found Lee Harvey Oswald, who was a Cuban sympathizer, and he was brought to the USA by Carlos. You know what happened after that.

 

Jack Ruby had terminal cancer and since Carlos had set him up with his Dallas night club Ruby agreed to take Oswald out as a favor to Carlos since Oswald was captured alive. The families thought Oswald would be killed by the police but they caught him in the movie theater.

 

Frenchy knew everyone involved in the JFK affair while they traveled through New Orleans. He told me he would wave at Oswald as he drove past Oswald sitting on his gallery. He also told me that he promised Carlos that he would not write his book until everyone involved was dead.

 

There was one guy still alive when he wrote the book and he got the guy's permission. If you can read the chapter on the JFK affair I think you will be surprised. After all, Frenchy has nothing to gain or to hide about the JFK assassination and he knew the people involved by their first names.

Judyth Baker, who was LHO's mistress and a government scientist has a new book out. I haven't read it but she's been doing the interview tour and I saw an interview. Last year she made claims that everyone who was vaccinated with the polio vaccine in the 60's and 70's was injected with cancer.  Take it for what it is. She was running around spouting this last year with Jesse Ventura. The book sounds interesting though.
