Ok comin your way boys's!!

Almost to the Ark line...Will be spending the night in Tunica (I hear there's a craps table there with my name on it) ;) ;) Gonna check out Graceland Wed morning and then to the lodge.

Like PapaJoe said, anything that we can do just put us to work.

Glad the storms passed everyone safely!!

We'll be leaving out tomorrow for the long 2-3 hour trip from Nashville. I bought Susan a fishing shirt at BPS....it didn't fit just right so we'll be making an exchange stop at the Nashville BPS before leaving tomorrow. Does anyone need me to pick up any last minute items for them? Will be happy to oblige, just let me know.

See y'all tomorrow afternoon....this is going to be a long day at the office!!

Anyone planning on throwing an A Rig? They've been biting it pretty good on Percy Priest and Old Hickory in Nashville but I suspect that bite is slowing down. I'd rather not pack my chandelier set up, bringing too much stuff as it is with out that thing! BUT....if it's going to get used I'll always make the accommodation.....be curious to see what the rest of you are thinking about it.

I'm bringing a couple. You never know!

However, my buddies are NOT fishing The Rig in tournaments now,

pretty much only for striper. The report I got this morning is this:

Lures: square bills, jerkbaits and Red Eye Shad in 1'-8' of water

For whatever reason it seems that the A Rig bite shuts off after the water temp gets up to 65 and over on the TN river.  That's about what the temp is now give or take a couple of degrees. May still have some luck with it.

I'll bet nobody thought to warn the resort Long Mike "Stormcrow" Goodson was on the way.

If they had been informed of that................they would have cancelled the reservations and told us to go to Pickwick!

The entire lake will probably be muddy for the next couple of days due to all the storms we have had.  They will be moving a lot of water. Stay safe.

Picked the meat up and Chicken, will put the Boston Butts on tomorrow. The chicken will go on under the Butts Friday am. Pull all the meat off the smoker and Throw it into a cooler Friday. Head that way around 3 pm or so, its 1.5 hours there. Get there and set up and pull the meat and get everything ready.

Hope everyone is Hungry, plenty of Pulled Pork BBQ, and Chicken for the ones that may not be able to eat Pork. Baked Beans and slaw and will pick up some Potato Salad and bread on the way. Also homemade sauce one mild and one spicy. :respect-059:  If anyone needs anything I can pick up on the trip from Pickwick or between here and there let me know. Will be stopping at Walmart for sure.

Wish my back would have allowed me to fish this week. But last Thursday on our way to Chattanooga it told me it was Boss. :cry4:  :tsk-tsk:
