Super User Gatorbassman Posted April 28, 2014 Super User Posted April 28, 2014 A lot of rain prior to the trip is a good thing when you are talking about the Tennessee River. When they open the gates on the dams the fish start biting. Did I mention that I'm excited? 2

Super User roadwarrior Posted April 28, 2014 Super User Posted April 28, 2014 I am rounding up suggestions from my local friends, will post their thoughts later today and update everyone Wednesday evening. Smallmouth have been on fire and more water should not hurt a thing!
Siebert Outdoors Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 So what your saying is spinnerbaits and cranks probably.Â
Brian Needham Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 What going to be you guys game plan? Â this weekend on Pickwick it was shakeyheads and senkos........... with more current I will be switching to a jig. hoping the current turns bite on and concentrates the fish more, as it should.
Siebert Outdoors Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I know on pickwick the days they were drawing water the smallies stacked up on main lake points. I probably caught about 12 in one spot.
Global Moderator Mike L Posted April 28, 2014 Global Moderator Posted April 28, 2014 Well I just finished re rigging with a jig, shaky head, sq bill, chatter, sluggo and a frog. Depending on how many my boater wants me to bring, I should be ready for anything. Yeah Buddy!!! All I need to do is retie everything Wed night. Mike
