Regretfully I will not be able to attend. Work and personal issues(nothing bad) have come up. Was really looking forward to this especially since it was so close by. Good luck to everyone and hopefully I can attend next year.

Scheduled departure time is 0300 Monday morning..........we'll see.

current forcast for our trip looks like thunderstorms Monday and Tuesday. (70-90% chance depending on source).....20% chance of showers on Wednesday.......I can do the showers........but the thunderstorms might put a damper on it for us Monday and Tuesday...........again, we'll see.

Good news is I did get the grass cut today............and the boat pulled around to the garage for staging.......loading and covering on Sunday evening.

Tick Tock Tick Tock  3 Days for most of y'all...........about1 day and 5 hrs for me.......WOO HOO!

A lot of rain prior to the trip is a good thing when you are talking about the Tennessee River. When they open the gates on the dams the fish start biting. Did I mention that I'm excited?

this weekend on Pickwick it was shakeyheads and senkos........... with more current I will be switching to a jig.

hoping the current turns bite on and concentrates the fish more, as it should.

I know on pickwick the days they were drawing water the smallies stacked up on main lake points.  I probably caught about 12 in one spot.
