Has anyone received an email from me?  I hope not, because I haven't sent any.  My computer somehow contracted a virus that resulted in weird emails automatically being sent to everyone on my Contacts list.  My apologies for any inconvenience.

I did.  It was an article about some skin care concoction that would take years off your appearance.  I was wondering why you sent it to me.  Thought I must look pretty haggard.  Well, I do, but that's to be expected when you're my age.

Actually she's one of my favorite comidians. The only thing I hate is people who won't make gravy and grits!!!! :wink2:

Thanks BG, but what are you talking about? Is it the closest place to the resort where we can get a hot Mom and Pop style breakfast?

Posted

Yep. That is about the closest place for a good breakfast.

Here is the latest list of confirmed attendees.  That makes 29 of us so far.  It looks like it's going to be a great turn-out!  Just a reminder for those of you still sitting on the fence.  It's not too late to sign up.  Although the cabins we have had blocked have been released to the general public, there are still many available.  Reserve yours now.  There is no penalty for a cancellation, provided it is done seven days prior.

That's great!

But please........you must still send in your registration forms.

29 is my unlucky number and if you don't send in your form and attend the road trip.......my wife and I will have to cancel our plans to attend this years road trip for fear of bad luck!

Just kidding of course.........c'mon y'all send in your forms and make your plans........last year's road trip was great! You will have a great time and enjoy yourself to no end.

I don't believe in lucky numbers.........but if you increase that number and attend the road trip......you will!

That is the biggest sm bass I have ever seen. Would you mind teling us the details? Like, what lure, how deep, structure, retrieve, etc. If not, that's ok but it'll make an old man very very sad!!! :) Congrats.

For those of you who are not familiar with the resort it is very nice. Cabins are along the water, there's nature trails and a skeet range. We rent a cabin every thanksgiving holiday there. I'm going to try to make this event all depends on work.

WOW ~!

Unquestionably one of the most impressive fish posted in a while.

A brown Bass that's  1/2 a gobie from smashing the 8 pound barrier is at the Very Top of the Slaunch Donkey Classification . . . .

Nice brown for sure. Would love to get 3 or 9 like that next week.

Well unfortunately that's not me in the pic. I started to mention that in my post but thought folks could tell it wasn't me from my profile pic.   Saw it posted on a local fishing blog.  Guy wouldn't say what he caught them with but that it was not an A rig.  Just thought I'd give folks who were on the fence about coming a little incentive!

That fish would be a state record smallie in Indiana.
