Bass Boat Carpet Cost

My dad has a 17' bass tracker; it needs new carpet. I was wondering how much (in general) it would cost to have a boat dealer recarpet it?

 

I am wondering the price of doing that versus time, effort, difficulty and cost of doing it myself.

My boat is bigger than that so I'd only be guessing.  My Champion 206 was bid in at a fiberglass shop for $1000.

 

If your boat dealership doesn't have an inhouse carpet guy, go find someone yourself as the dealership will likely up charge you 10-20% for just making a phone call or two.
