lovecranking Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 I was watching a Bass Pro episode on the Outdoor channel. I think it was Woo Davies showing how to insert a rubber weight into a tube, to make it fall more naturally, to fish it Texas style. I've been checking around but cannot find the brand name of the weights he was using. Does anybody know the name of the weights and who stocks/sells them? Quote
Garnet Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 I don't no a rubber brand theres a hard plastic insert with rattle thats cool. I use the one with the brass rattle attached in the BPS catalog. You can make these inserts by flatting a worm wieght and take a nail and but a hole in the nose. You can't drill lead. Cheap bell sinkers work pretty good. Garnet Quote
Papa_Tom Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Is this it? http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=44465&hvarTarget=search&cmCat=SearchResults Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted April 1, 2007 Super User Posted April 1, 2007 I have those rubber "Woo's tube weights" They are OK, pricey, I won't buy them again. I just use cheap "bass casting" sinkers, slide one up the tube, texas rig normaly, running the hook through tht eye of the sinker. Simple, cheap, yet very effective. Quote
