All I can say is WOW! These are some of the nicest jigs I ever laid eyes on. When I got them in the mail they were 10x nicer than I thought they would be, even though they looked nice via pictures.

My confidence in Jigs isn't even that high because I hate slowing down. But just looking at these gives me confidence, im totally psyched about Jig fishing now.

Thanks Mike for your awesome Jigs and hard work.  :fishing1:

My first order with Siebert a few weeks ago consisted of several arky jigs, swim jigs, chatter baits and spinnerbaits. They look great! And I've caught at least one fish on each style, using my spinning gear.

I've since upgraded to a baitcasting setup and have had to upside my jigs. I placed my second order with Mike last week. Look forward to receiving them. I'm focusing on grass jigs this time.

I've had the least amount of success with the standard jig (arky, football, grass from Siebert and other off-the-shelf brands). I need to slow down and work on my presentation. The fault is definitely not with the Siebert products.  :)

How are you working them? I was always just working it like a Texas Rig (hop hop, reel slack, hop hop) until I watched one of Glenn's videos and he pointed out that you don't usually see crawfish flying through the water column haha. He then pointed out that you just want to drag it slowly a couple of times then twitch it.

That's strange of him to say because in my experience you actually do. When they flee from danger they dart and jerk backwards with each tail flap. It's not a vertical hop, so maybe that's what he means, but its more like a horizontal arc each time they flap. Poping the rod tip simulates it or how some people might swim a jig simulating a longer swim with multiple tail flaps.

My first hit on the brush Jig I flipped it into some wood. I let it fall to the bottom and popped it once or twice and thought I was snagged. I set the hook and it did turn out to be a fish but when my line came over a limb above the water the jig popped out of the fishes mouth.

I'm probably working them too much like a Texas Rig, which I'm also guilty of fishing too fast. I need to practice the cast > wait to sink > light twitch > slow drag > pause > twitch or small hop > pause > repeat.

I first need to work on the beginner-level skill of simply slowing down. The two fish I caught on Arkies both hit the jigs early in my retrieve. And I had just started throwing them, so I hadn't grown impatient and hadn't sped up yet.

I'm very much guilty of fishing too fast. I sometimes have to actually tell myself "be the rod" or "be the bait" and slow down and actually feel it.

I just put a decent order of Dredge brush jigs yesterday! Can't wait till they come in the mail! Lol the week before I ordered 12 arky heards. Someone help me, it's an addiction. Mike's jigs are legit, I caught my first jig fish on an arky.

I fish Siebert jigs exclusively and I'm going to place another order next week. The one jig that's rarely mentioned but I have had unreal success with is the Zenith shakeyhead. It's the best shakeyhead I have ever fished and for the most part it's replaced the traditional tx rig. That's not to say i don't tx rig anymore but more times than not I prefer the Zenith!

It is indeed an addiction, got three more today. Two arkys in 1/4oz. in Blue Craw and Blue Bug, and a brush in 3/4 oz. in Brown Metallic Purple.

Did you get those through a retail store?  The logo looks great on the peg cards.

I liked the logo when I 1st saw it, but it seemed a little bland, but on a hanger card, it's very distinctive.  The only other card that's as distinctive when you look at a wall of jigs on pegboard might be Buckeye jigs, and theirs is a little dark.  Yours really pop.

I just got my stocking stuffer pack today to check out Mike's work.

I admit I have not up to this point purchased anything from Siebert.

I wanted to check out some colors to see how if they matched or could be matched to my current jigs. Upon opening the jigs up the packaging was nice, but when looking at the jigs I was really impressed.

I consider myself a pretty decent jig guy, and I am way way picky about stuff, to a fault. I was really amazed at these jigs. I know its just jigs, some would say. But there is just something different about these. The dredge head is awesome, a football that actaully will stand up. the skirts look like they will have just the right amount of flare, being the head will stand up. I think where and how they are tied has something to do with too, it just different, not something I can totally explain.

The owner deep throat, as always, is unreal. Hands down the best jig hook out there.

This is without doubt the best jig I have held in my hand ........I have searched near and far to find something that I dont question at first glance. I do believe the Siebert jigs are that.

The ONLY thing I can find, and its only because I am " Jig Bipolar" is I prefer a black head on a black and blue jig instead of a blue head..... but like I said thats just me being over anal, and thinking WAYYYY too much about it.

If you are looking for a jig maker or simply want to try jigs.... Siebert is your guy, I know he's mine.
