NewAngler Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 What do you think you guys would get if you combined two popular styles of baits; a buzzbait and a swimbait? The answer is one of Tylure Custom Baits Buzzbommer, or Buzzbommer Jr. Typically when fishing a buzzbait, you only have one option. Chuck and wind, due to the sinking nature of the bait. With this bait, you can rip it, swim it, jerk it, walk it, the possibilities are enless due to its ENORMOUS wooden head. While more expensive than your typical buzzbait, it will sure get heads turning your direction chuckin' this thing at your favorite topwater spot. These things are large, and even the Jr. can be intimidating at first, but with anything else, persistance pays off. Check out the bait, and all other Tylure Custom Baits at his website. tylurecustombaits.com here is a picture of the Buzz Jr. What do you think you guys would get if you combined two popular styles of baits; a buzzbait and a swimbait? The answer is one of Tylure Custom Baits Buzzbommer, or Buzzbommer Jr. The "favorite buzzbait" thread a while back had me thinking, and I am surprised I didn't say this was it. Then again, it isn't your typical buzzbait, either. Typically when fishing a buzzbait, you only have one option. Chuck and wind, due to the sinking nature of the bait. Bobby Uhrig Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Do they make it in a 1/2 oz???? Quote
backwater4 Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Cool! There's a lot of hardware on that. How's it catch? Any reports on it? Quote
NewAngler Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Do they make it in a 1/2 oz???? Ya know, I don't think they do. They figured you gotta be the only one in the world with a 1/2 buzzbait, why ruin such a good thing? Cool! There's a lot of hardware on that. How's it catch? Any reports on it? I'm going to take it out this weekend. I threw it two days ago in the height of the sun just to check it out. LOUD, SQUEAKY are two words I would describe this bait. Another cool thing I've learned on this bait is that when you give it a steady retreive the eye looks down, and I can imagine that ticking off a bass or two. Trust me, as soon as I nail one (hopefully a nice smallie this weeked), you guys will hear about it. Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 HMMM -It floats-Could be a very cool twitch bait Quote
NewAngler Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Twitch it, swim it, rip it, possibilities are endless. What I have found out, though, is to acheive optimum noice output you have to hold your rod tip pretty high. Quote
Uncle Leo Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 Josh that bait is a bit on the ugly side, you know kind of hard on the eyes, LOL. If you can catch a Bass on that I am sure I could. :-/ Can't wait to here your report, In any case that is the most unique bait I have seen in some time. Quote
NewAngler Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Hey, o nevet claimed it was a beauty pageant podium winner. I plan on abusing this beast this weekend. Quote

It wouldn't be as weedless as a regular buzzbait with the treble hook hanging down, but its still cool. Heres a topwater that looked diferent. Quote
Super User Bassin_Fin@tic Posted October 5, 2010 Super User Posted October 5, 2010 That thing's Korny. So is almost everything we use to catch bass with period. Quote
