What are you using to catch the linkers in Collierville? I have seen some big bass jump but they don't want anything I throw at them.

Definitely still a newb. Don't even have 6 months under my belt. Just got a bait caster from the wifey. It's super fun.

Thanks, I have only caught fish on the Zoom Trick Worm -Black and Motor Oil w/ Chartreuese, Green-Lizards & a Small White Lipped Swim Lure meant for Crappie.

What colors and brands are you using?  Ever used one that looks like a fish? (Those seem logical to me).

I have purchased: Strike King Lipped Swim Lures, $1 Wal-Mart Spinners, Football Head Jig, rubber Craws, 3/16 Swim Jig, Jig Heads, grubs, frogs, etc...  No luck on this stuff. probably not jigging it right.

Saw a 5lber jump at a local pond and cast everything in my bucket out to him, he didn't want any of it.  Not even a nibble in that pond.  Same story with Chick-Fil-A and Collierville Civic Center.

I really like my Rage Tail Spacemonkey  or the Rage Craw as a trailer for my Jigs. Green Pumpkin, June Bug, or Okeechobee Craw are my go to colors, in that order. Pair it with a black and blueswim jig.
