Ah I got a few shad raps. Had some luck but I don't invest much time in cranking. I do have a personal favorite color though, but it appears we are keeping those secret ;)

Lmao keeping them secret lol. No secrets here I rather go the private message route for these little snakes that like to steal spots and info from this site without joining in on the convo.

I don't mind telling anyone that I communicate with what I use or where I go because that's fishing (like I said I go the PM route) As long as they are catch and release, you can keep one DD though lol

The two people I communicate the most with by phone/text are from this site DS and Czar ask them all we do is share info we are all going out Saturday together

Yeah, but these are people I see in fishing sections or meet near or at spots. The forum is fair game and I think these folks understand sharing is caring

Hahaha I just kinda think that is ironic and like you won the lottery at the same time because you say 90% of the time it is a frog. The odds must have been against. Nice....Was it a walmart brand or one of their cheap ones like bomber or rebel.

I fish 90% frog now. That fish was caught in June. Lottery yes, because I was skunked that entire morning (while my buddy already had 5 on the boat).

It was a cheap one. Lower than a bomber or rebel. When I say off brand, I mean off the grid. I looked up the company name and it was a number in Deleware. Number was disconnected.

Honestly, if you can show me a picture of a bass and make me say "DAMNNNNNN!", I can care less about the weight, i'll buy you a beer.

That is what I am talking about....It raises my eyebrows when they talk about their big fish first thing out of their mouth. I rather talk fishing, lures and techniques more than see your picks and you cannot even tell me what you caugh it on. HAHAHA.

Well clearly you aren't fond of fishermen like me then. I enjoy sharing pictures, stories, techniques, and lures. Granted this is with people who I plan on fishing with, not random strangers I pass on the water.

Next time I am visiting my brother in Orlando I am going to link up with you and we can do some fishing. I am going there for a weekend, not sure when, but when I do I will give you plenty of notice and we can slay em on the frogs!

No, these are random folks.....Like situations like AK described seeing you put you poles in your car at a gas station. Folks I know and fish with that is a defferent story.

Oh okay. Then we are on the same boat. I befriend a lot of people on the water, but you don't get intel unless its a mutual exchange of information.

Man in my experience most folks like to talk big, esepcially about themselves. They wanna be the best, have the best etc. You can usually tell who is ***ting you and not by how they talk. And like Mouldie said there are ways to make fish look bigger. LOL Must just be the folks I run into or you have the gift of gab cuz the legit fisherman are more about talking their numbers and they day and less about their PB and they are also tight lipped about spots and sometimes bait. :Idontknow:

Birthday parties ended for me a LOOOONG time ago spent today babysitting lol. Going out to dinner with my girl and son later when she gets home then having an adults night out Saturday after I'm done fishing with the boys.

My birthday package from TW just arrived excited to try some things out Saturday, ESPECIALLY those 2 deadly frogs... I had to take them out the package one is rigged on my pole just waiting to be inhaled lol

What type of frogs are they?

And is that a 3.75" weedless huddleston?

Suck on this Gambler! :P

P.S. On a t-rigged 6" green zoom lizard, 3/16 bullet weight, 3/0 EWG hook, 50# green braid. Dropped across a canal into some cover, let it dropped, and before it hit the bottom she was on! BTW, it was in a park you took me to about a year ago, off Coral Springs Dr. and Atlantic Blvd. in case anyone want's to hit the same spot. I also got 4 or 5 smaller ones...
