Well, I didn't fish this morning. Don't really have the drive this month for some reason. Guess I'm just too busy getting the house together. The garden is finally down, and yesterday I scrubbed out the boat, so it's finally nice and clean again. I'm still awaiting my Tatula Type-R to arrive, and maybe then I will get out and fish some more.

Yea I went there with Sarah for 2 hours or so got into some nice fish caught 12 between us. Most came in that cove that's by the resturant, it was open a lot of cars there they prob open later for lunch/dinner. We were using lunker frog, KVD 1.5 cranks, and shad raps. I thought all the submerged grass would be hard using the cranks but it wasn't that's what the fish wanted today only landed 2 on the frog. We were out around 2ish til around 4. Sarah makes fun of me doing this competition so I don't bother when I am out with her lol. She was poking fun of me saying aren't you going to measure that one looks over 20, lol everytime we got a good fish she would mock me lol

We went out for a bit with the kids. Caught one on a lizzard and one on a white fluke. Neither over 11". SO and his son caught a couple smalls too. Hoping to get into something good next weekend. The bonus tonight was Tyler rigged his own and then caught two.

The KVDs I have luck when it's sunny with the sexy shad color and when it's over cast or the water is a little darker I use the craw color (it's orange and brown not sure if that's the official name of it though). The shad raps I use bluegill and shad. They are both similar in color but the bluegill has more detail. I ordered these 2 KVDs one is pumpkinseed and the other is bluegill I had the pumpkin seed early in the summer before I picked up frogging and the fish loved that pattern it currently resides in a tree at industrial park lol, I finally got around to ordering it after I could not find them in any store.

Try them out I know the fish in our area like em

Went out yesterday missed three and finally got this little guy on wat mag red rattlesnake....missed a couple on the crank too. swipes and a follow back to shore.

 

 

13.5" that is number 5 dunno how much fishing I will be getting done

A bunch of stuff that was posted in the last few days was lost forever according to the mods. So you just need to upload them again. The site crashed and they had to restore it thus losing some posts, threads, and pics

Ah ty for clearing that up good thing they were recorded before the crash.
