Drop Shot Rod

hey guys, im looking into getting a rod for mostly drop shotting. what are some of the ones you all like? id like to keep the price under $200 bucks if possible.

 

what length, action, etc do you look for?

 

ive heard good things about the duckett ones. your thoughts?

Folks have adapted the drop shot rig to fit a number of circumstances. If you're talking about the traditional method of vertical jigging with finesse baits, a 6'9" ML/XF is the way to go.
