What would be a good line to throw for 1/2 oz spinnerbaits in thick weeds. I use mono usually but was thinking of going with copoly or flouro. Opinions?

Are you sure you wanna be throwing a spinner in thick weeds? I would imagine that the weeds would get constantly hung up on the hook.

i always throw them into weeds in the delta, theyre one of the only baits i can throw through the stuff in the delta. the weeds hardly get into the hooks and are pretty dang weedless

since im just getting into using heavier jigs to pitch into cover, the spinnerbait was my go to lure for moderately thick cover. I think with braid and floro SBs do pretty well ripping through weeds without getting hungup

Braid.  I don't know what advantage you  would gain from switching to fluoro, unless you need your bait to ride lower for some reason. Can't comment on co-poly.

Braid typically works well in vegetation, I have always used Mono for spinnerbaits however this year have been throwing it on braid with a fc leader just cant seem to get a bite this year with a spinner bait.

I use 12# P-line CXX for all my spinnerbait fishing. It is incredibly strong and abrasion resistant, which some will argue is due to the slightly larger diameter than most 12# lines. But this is why I don't feel any need to go above 12#. You may want to bump up to 15# if throwing into the nasty stuff though.
