Speaking of fishing stereotypes, I need a better type of stereo for when I go fishing and want to listen to a ball game or whatever.  My current 90's era boom box produces a loud hum whenever I am running the trolling motor, then the instant I get off the motor the hum, disappears.  This isn't a major problem, but I am going to solve it before next summer.  Sorry I hijacked the thread with a really lame joke.

These guys make some pretty sweet trick shot videos. They are pretty funny and some of their shots are ridiculous!

The bobber is a cooler. It holds a 12 pack. Lol. Its like $15-$20 at Academy. That was an awesome video. Which one are you?

What, you guys don't use that bobber for flipping and pitching. Sometimes it's so hard to feel bites with a jig.  I bring 5 when I go bank fishing in case I lose some.   :hahaha-024:
And so begins the big bobber jokes

I tried trolling it behind the yak once. Didn't catch any fish. Just a bunch of hot beer because my ice melted. Lol.

Duck Lady!

I just think it's awesome that you own a yak that swims and lets you fish off its back. I didn't even know they could swim all that well. They certainly don't "look" the part. Are there any grooming tips you can share in case I decide that yak fishing is the way to go for me? :Tomatoes1:

You should cut his hair down . This serves dual purposes. 1. It will track alot better (less drag) 2. You can make yak hair jigs, or flies which ever you prefer. Other than that saddle up and head down the ramp. O yea, I don't advise fishing in areas with alligators. Thanks for the laugh.

Do you use a floating, suspending or sinking saddle? Does that choice depend on age, hair mass or choice of line? Do the horns supply adequate steering or should I choose a particular thrust model yak? What's the sink rate between yak and braid? Can you braid yak? If you can braid yak, what's the preferred knot?

I thought we were riding the yak.

We're definitely riding the yak, but line type might become an issue. I'm just trying to cover my bases. Do they sell yaks with polarized vision that can help me locate bass that normal people that fish on weekends with Walmart bait (or a bazillion dollars worth of bassproshop of bait) can't find?

Do yaks buck much? Do you or can you wear spurs with them?

How about we forget this whole yak thing and get in some Kayaks and go catch some fish?

Do kayaks offer some potential fishing benefit that I'm not aware of? Why would you choose to go from yaks to kayaks just over a fishing forum? I think you're trying to mislead me and keep me from catching fish!!!!  ?D
