wkendfisher Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I bought one of these All Star 7' ACL PRM rods from Academy back in the spring and have yet to fish with it so I just bought a new Pflueger 6:1 to go on it today but can't find anything on the inet about the rod. I can't remember what Academy had it labeled for as far as fishing type - anyone know what its best used for? ex - crank bait, worm rod, etc... thanks!! Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted September 27, 2010 Super User Posted September 27, 2010 i think the prm means popping rod medium. Quote
wkendfisher Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 when you say popping rod - you mean topwater plugs? Quote
wkendfisher Posted September 27, 2010 Author Posted September 27, 2010 good deal! thats what I needed to know!! I'm setting it up as my new top water rig! Thanks!! If anyone else thinks differently - please reply. Not second guessing deaknh - I just want to use it for what it was made for!! Quote
tbird Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 I think that's the popping rod as previously mentioned , you won't find any info on the Classic series as it is an in house rod for Acadamy T Quote
