Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 Well is it Chicago or New York? Or does all depend on what your in rhe mood for. I'm going with Chicago style. I like having a 2lb slice of goodness. Quote
Super User KU_Bassmaster. Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 St. Louis. Seems like people either love it or hate it. Quote
Super User slonezp Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 There's more than one style? Quote
Super User Hi Salenity Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 I've had both that were good and both that were bad... I always wanted to build a wood... Fired brick pizza oven in the back yard. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 As long as you don't put fruit on it I'm not too particular. I like it all. A good thin crust cheese, onion, and pepperoni baked in Hi Salenity's wood fired oven would make me a happy guy. Now I'm hungry and I just finished dinner... 3 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 Thin crust that isn't crispy with a good sauce that isn't to sweet, not a ton of cheese. I like my pizza plain or with the classic pepperoni but if i am making them on my grill at home i like to add some fresh basil, romano tomatoes, riccota and slices of sweet sausage. 1 Quote

Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted October 23, 2013 Author Super User Posted October 23, 2013 Added "other" too it as well. I figure why limit it to just them two. Tried to make it a public viewable poll, but my phone ain't letting me do that. If a moderator can change it for me it would br much appreciated. I can add square, round, and triangle as well if yall want. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 I voted "other" but probably could have voted New York... "NEOPOLITAN" baby!! Drippy greasy cheesy pepperoni heaven!!! 1 Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 Thin crust, Canadian Bacon (or Ham, I guess is what some people call it) with extra sauce Quote

Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 Voted "other" for Sicilian, guessing that would be closer to Chicago (wasn't sure) You can never go wrong with "free" as a choice either. 1 Quote
mrmacwvu1 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 as long as i do not have to eat it with a fork I am good i hate pizza that is too big to pick up and it just falls apart Quote
tholmes Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 New York style all the way! I don't like my pizza to resemble a casserole. Tom Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 I like real NY style - Lombardo's has some of the best slices I've had. There's also a small place here run by a couple from Brooklyn and they have the genuine article. Chicago style to me is something totally different than "pizza" - it's really it's own thing. We also have a place here run by a Chicago transplant that makes real Chicago style pizza. A third favorite of mine, and I'm not sure this available in many places is Sicilian style. It's a VERY thick, bready crust with chunky, home style toppings. Get pepperoni on it, and you'll enjoy 1" thick, diagonally sliced pieces of pepperoni, charred to perfection. 1 Quote
Super User MCS Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 I will go with NY style for my top choice. I been to NYC and had legit pizza there, nothing better IMO 2 Quote
