endless Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Here are some shots from my game cam. I'm still waiting on my deer for the year. I called one in last Saturday and spooked it before it got near. Man the thought of you knowing you messed up when hear the deer run cawing, gaulking, whatever you call that busted sound, lol. I got to experience this for my first time Saturday. Depressing. I believe I also found a scrape across from my mock scrape and dripper with allot of trail activity from the prints so I moved my camera over to that spot and see what it picks up. What now till back out there Saturday for the hunt. I'll swap out SD cards then and hopefully have something........Well hopefully something more than just game pics, lol. I know Clayton got his first deer with the bow. Congrats Clayton! Anyone else? My cousin said the deer might of winded me. I'm not sure. I've been all over looking for my Fresh Earth dryer sheets and today thought about since I couldn't find them picking up the detergent in Fresh Earth. Ha gone as well. Well now.............Also wondering do anyone put plastic over their seats or use a seat cover for their seats when traveling for the hunt? Quote
Super User clayton86 Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 That buck don't look to bad. I did get my first deer with the new bow Saturday its only the 2nd deer killed with a bow for me and they are 12 years apart from eachother!! Quote
Horseshoe crazy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 1. I keep my hunting cloths in a scent free bag with ceder branches in it. 2. I wash my cloths twice after I run the washer with only scent free detergent once. 3. I rarely dryer my cloths in a dryer, I usually air them. If I have to cause of the temp. I wipe the the dryer out real good with scent free spray. 4. I change my clothes at my truck and spray down everything before I go out. 5. I also shower with scent free soap. I hope this helps. I really try to be scent free as possible. I do all that and am lucky to see a couple of shooters a year. A guy I work with wears is work boots (he works in the foundry) to hunt always kills a 170 or 160 inch deer with his bow every year. So I dont know if its a waste but I dont feel right if I dont. I hunt with two guys who smoke and dip in their stand or wiz off the stand also, always see tons of deer and shoot monsters. I wouldn't believe it if they didnt send me videos every time out of deer walking under them well I do the scent free as much as possible and don't see half the deer they do. They move and play on phones all the time in the stand also. Quote
