Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted October 22, 2013 Author Super User Posted October 22, 2013 Here is my personal carry. Let me know if you have any questions about the build. It is fairly simply and easy to figure out! Jeff That there is funny. Probably see the dang thing from space when you turn it on. Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted October 22, 2013 Author Super User Posted October 22, 2013 Howitzer would be interesting. Though that's a bit more of a truck gun. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 Why not a gatling sling shot gun? Quote

Super User slonezp Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 Maybe Metal Storm will come out with a million round per minute gun that you can holster. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted October 22, 2013 Super User Posted October 22, 2013 When I was a class A machine builder I built cnc machines that machined the upper and lower races for the turret bearings for the US Army M1Abrams tank turret. It's almost 108" in diameter. The lathe I built had a 108" Chuck. I also built a machine to machine the main engine rotor for the turbine tank engine too. My point is I seen a short video of this tank in mid air coming over a hill and locking on a target and firing and hitting the target while in mid air. That's D weapon to have. Just checkout the YouTube videos on the m1abrams tank in Iraq and Afghanistan. Trust me I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end f this puppy. One other gun to look at is the Russian Ishmash Saiga in 223rem or in 308win. It's a sporting rifle version but it has the fire power of its ak/akm cousins. Plus its the most accurate out of all the ak/akm designs too. It's a great hunting rifle. Check out the saiga 12 sight. 1 Quote
Super User bigbill Posted October 23, 2013 Super User Posted October 23, 2013 I shot a lot of different guns over the many years. I shot two of my dealers full auto weapons. One was a thompson Tommy 45acp machine gun and a select fire m14's in 308. I'm a big man at 300# + and running a 25# 100cc chainsaw blogging I'm not weak. I wasn't expectlng the barrel rise on the full auto m14 but after realizing how it climbs I could control it. The Thompson Tommy gun was awesome to shoot, very controlable. Overall my choice of the SHTF weapons would still be an SKS in 7,62x39 or a Russian Izmash Sanita in 223 or 308. Either gun in my hands will shoot 1 1/2" groups at 100yds with no scope. I could also hunt with either rifle for deer too. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted October 24, 2013 Super User Posted October 24, 2013 I shot two of my dealers full auto weapons. It is not recommended that you shoot your dealer. 1 Quote
Super User bigbill Posted October 25, 2013 Super User Posted October 25, 2013 My dealer let me try out two of his full auto guns. At his local gun club at the outdoor range. We were shooting at the 75yard berm. No people or animals were hurt in anyway during this test fire. I think I'm politically correct now from now on I will watch my wording so no one gets the wrong impression of me. Kidding......... Quote

AssassinAngling Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I can mount a 30mm Gatling on your vehicle for a small price of $599. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted October 30, 2013 Super User Posted October 30, 2013 I like to go old school. M1928A1 Thompson w/Cutts compensator, horizontal fore-grip, and I prefer the 20+30 round sticks to the drums. Quote
Super User bigbill Posted October 30, 2013 Super User Posted October 30, 2013 I did like the Tommy gun or the Chicago type writer as its called over the full auto m14's. I would like a belt fed but the cost of feeding it. Quote

BrotherOfTheRepublic Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 If I were you I'd go old-school. Get a full-auto BAR. Nothing says "I'll kick your bass" like a 30-06. It'll also be a good work out since it weighs about 20lbs. 1 Quote
