Hey guys, just wanting to know your favorite KS SFL., and why it is.

For me - Howard-Polk Daniels Lake in Howard Kansas. It has a very good population of Largemouths, Spottys, Bluegill, and Crappie. Last week I took a trip down there and caught 15 bass (about half largemouth, half spottys). Great time, very pretty lake, never busy.

What about you?

Pssst, Polk is a city lake. ;)

I would say Mac. Just because I know the bigguns are there for Largemouth. Spots, I would want to give Wilson SFL out near Chanute a try.

Im getting a bit better at figuring out Butler, but its still laboring

I think I'd go with Miami SFL. Great for numbers and very easy to catch. There's even some decent fish in there too.

The Mel.

Working on a trip to Wilson in the next few weeks, that might change a few things. But for now it's Melvern without a second thought.

Miami is fun in the spring, man it's tough after that most times though

Bourban is a blast if you're fine with just catching a bunch of fish and not much worried about size.

Nebo if you're after a monster but if you catch 10 fish you had a great day.

I'd like to get to Shawnee SL sometime but don't know when I'll get around too it.

I've been wanting to try Wilson SL out too along with Lyon but both are a haul to fish a state lake.

Osage SL is a fun one too, lots of fish and some big ones mixed in.
