Super User AK-Jax86 Posted October 11, 2013 Super User Posted October 11, 2013 Vikings RB Adrian Peterson's 2 year old son died today after being choked/assaulted by the child's mother's 27 year old boyfriend. Having a 18 month old child I could not imagine this happening nor how I would react in the aftermath. I wouldn't be surprised if Adrian goes off on the field this weekend and break his own record for most rushing yards in a game. This is the same guy who comes back from a potential career ending injury and comes within 9 yards of the NFL single season rushing record. But having to deal with the death of a child out weighs any physical injury in my opinion. Quote

Super User AK-Jax86 Posted October 11, 2013 Author Super User Posted October 11, 2013 Why would he even play after that?? A lot of people use football as a way to escape just like most of us do with fishing Quote
Super User Teal Posted October 11, 2013 Super User Posted October 11, 2013 Prayers to AP and his family. Forget about football and think of a man losing his two year old son to a violent on home domestic attack. My heart goes out to him. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted October 11, 2013 Super User Posted October 11, 2013 That's horrible ... sick sick sick people in the world.... Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted October 11, 2013 Super User Posted October 11, 2013 Unbelievable the mom's boyfriend did that to a 2 year old. Hopefully he never sees "the outside" again. Thoughts and prayers to the family. I can only imagine... Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted October 12, 2013 Super User Posted October 12, 2013 I just don't get it how people's minds work....prayers go out to AP and his family. Quote
Super User Darren. Posted October 12, 2013 Super User Posted October 12, 2013 Read about this tonight. Absolutely disgraceful. Prayers, and such, and all the best to AP. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted October 12, 2013 Super User Posted October 12, 2013 Horrible news. I wouldn't be critical of the decision to play or not to. Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 12, 2013 Super User Posted October 12, 2013 That is terrible news. A young life snuffed out before it had a chance to begin. Quote
Super User Bankbeater Posted October 12, 2013 Super User Posted October 12, 2013 Terrible. Stuff like this makes me wonder about people sometime. Quote
Nice_Bass Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Horrible no doubt...but the guy has a history of abuse and mother could have prevented. Also, I believe AP was only biological father and does not know the kid/won't affect playing status. Quote
