I usually shut down around Thanksgiving since that date until Christmas is pretty busy for our family, and then I start up when the weather starts to be bearable again.  This is usually mid-late February.

Unfortunately mid to end of October all the way through to April-ish.  This is the longest I have gone fishing for bass.

I'm not a fan of the cold and ice fishing just isn't the same.  If and I say IF I am lucky my work will send me someplace warm where I might be able to cast a line or two after hours.

I have a 9-5, 15 club tournaments a year and 7-10 pot tournaments a year. If I'm not prefishing, fun fishing, pond fishing or speckled trout fishing 2-3x a year in Port St. Joe, I'm either doing something that relates to fishing OR working

I stop fishing from the beginning of December till April.  I have to winterize my boat and just wait for next spring, because I don't like ice fishing.
