Super User Ratherbfishing Posted October 10, 2013 Super User Posted October 10, 2013 I can almost always tell when it is getting cloudy and the barometric pressure begins to dip without even going near a window. I get lethargic and...well, depressed. It isn't reduced sunlight per se as, like I mentioned, I can be in a building shielded from outside windows and I can still detect a change in my mood. Anybody else get SAD or anything akin to it? Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted October 10, 2013 Super User Posted October 10, 2013 Never gave it much thought. Then again 90% of my day is spent outside or somewhere close to it. Quote
Super User retiredbosn Posted October 10, 2013 Super User Posted October 10, 2013 When I lived in WV I would get seasonal depression, (at least according to my bride) living in SC, no. I can detect changes in barometric pressure but that's due to all the metal I have in my spine and associated arthritis. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted October 10, 2013 Super User Posted October 10, 2013 I can detect it in my mood and my joints. Perhaps the right joints and my mood would be better. Quote

Super User Darren. Posted October 11, 2013 Super User Posted October 11, 2013 I usually get excited when the baro-pressure drops! I look for any opportunity to get out and fish But yeah, other times I can tell when a front is coming through. Can be lethargy, headache, etc. Quote
