I was wondering if there was anyone in the area that has fished this part of the river or near this part of the river for Smallies? I am wanting to take the boat out and try it in the next week or two and would like to hear if any others have had experience with it. Quote

Their rods and reels have never failed me(tough a buddy did shut 5 of my Light and Tough series rods in the tailgate a few years back.) Are you thinking about fishing one of the streams that run into the Missouri or the river itself? I've never heard of smallmouths being in the Missouri River that far south but maybe I'm missing something. As far as I know, you'd have to go to Nebraska to get into any smallmouths in the Missouri River. Quote
