lynyrdsky1 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Hey ive been doing well with a quarter ounce buckeye spot remover flat side jig head and im just wondering is there any other shakey head type jig heads i should try? Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted September 10, 2010 Super User Posted September 10, 2010 I use the Arkie Shakey Head jigs from walmart and really like them, they are cheap, easy to get, and the hooks are good, I've had two bad hook points in almost two years. Quote

BossHoss Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I like the Picasso in the football head version myself... but if Bass Pro is your only option then go with these and some Roboworms http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_89935_100010006_100000000_100010000_100-10-6 Quote

Stasher1 Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 you guys know anyones i could try that i can get at bass pro since i have one right near my house I've had good luck with the Gambler Giggy Head... http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_102862____SearchResults The worm holder is a bit of a pain, but I just use the hook point to make a "pilot hole" in the head of the worm before I rig it. This solves the problem for me and I've never had a worm come off the holder. Quote
Super User CWB Posted September 11, 2010 Super User Posted September 11, 2010 Hmm...I fish the MegaStike Shak-E2 exclusively: http://www.megastrikefishingproducts.com/shop/Pro-Series-Shakey-Head-Jigs---Black.html 8-) X2. Try these. You won't want to use anything else. Go to the Megastrike website and watch the video. You'll see what makes these head and shoulders above the rest. Quote
Bobby Uhrig Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 The MegaStrike Shak-E2 Heads are now available in a 3/4 oz. Great for punching mats and ledge fishing with larger baits. Quote
BassThumb Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 The 3/16 - 3/8 oz Megastrike E-2 and the Picasso Football heads are my favorite for fishing shaky-style. These stand-up heads shine when you're fishing the bait on the bottom most of the time. I also like the 1/16 - 1/8 oz Bagleys head for standard jig worming, where I mostly swim and twitch the bait, trying to let it hang on weed tops or near weed edges, so I can jiggle jiggle jiggle and pop it free to trigger strikes.
