Super User AK-Jax86 Posted October 7, 2013 Super User Posted October 7, 2013 I am putting together an online order from BPS. Has anyone had success, I'm sure you have who hasn't had success using Rage Tail, with the space monkeys? I believe people flip and pitch em but can they be used as top water if fish fast similar to the rage craws? Has anyone had success fishing them this way? Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 The space monkey is a good bait. One of my favorite creature baits for a big profile to catch fish. I pitch it a lot in heavy structure. BTW, I dont know what all you are ordering but I'm .75 cents cheaper on almost all Rage products then BPS. 2 Quote

JaxBasser Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I've caught fish on them using the rage rig on the top and slow fishing it on the bottom. It's a really versatile bait. Quote
Super User Shane J Posted October 7, 2013 Super User Posted October 7, 2013 Mainly a flippin bait for me, too, but I've caught fish on it just about every way you can imagine, including topwater. Very versatile bait. My favorite color is the Falcon Craw. Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted October 8, 2013 Super User Posted October 8, 2013 Best way to rig space monkeys for me have been on a Carolina rig, rage rigged, or as a jig trailer. Quote
BrianSnat Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 It is one of my favorite plastics. I fish it Carolina rigged, T rigged with a pegged weight, and weightless. 1 Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted October 8, 2013 Super User Posted October 8, 2013 I've never tried swimming it, but that sucker catches bass when T-rigged or Rage-rigged. I prefer the Rage-rig. 1 Quote
