Super User rockchalk06 Posted October 7, 2013 Super User Posted October 7, 2013 Anyone used these on the back of a swim jig? I have a bunch of them I got cheap. Quote
Super User Ratherbfishing Posted October 8, 2013 Super User Posted October 8, 2013 Have I used them? No but I don't see why they wouldn't work. Those appendages/pincers will probably undulate nicely-though perhaps not QUITE as well as the Chiggercraw. You may have to just try one to find out. Quote
Nice_Bass Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Anyone used these on the back of a swim jig? I have a bunch of them I got cheap. I use them from time to time but not on the back of a jig. Too much plastic on the shank than I would want on most jigs. It would work, but just not option number one. May have to go out to the boat and re-check this out though as I do have a few bags I was not sure I would ever get through at the rate I use them at. I am chigger craw biased though for trailers possibly to a fault. Quote
pbizzle Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I'm sorry to bring back an old thread but I just want to help. I've been using them like a horny toad. As a matter of fact I read that somewhere. I'll try to find it. Quote
pbizzle Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Found it. http://www.***.com/berkley-unveils-powerbait-power-claw-and-thief/ Quote

pbizzle Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Yeah, they don't have to much action unless fished pretty quick. I don't really like them as a jig trailer, but they're ok during the summer on a T-Rig when you want to fish your lure a little faster than the rest of the year. Quote
