Should I get a 13envy or a dobyns champion for my new t rig rod?

Reel choice is between a chronarch ci4+ and a team lews pro

are you looking at the champ or champ extreme? if your looking at the champ, i would suggest the 13 ***, i have all three, and the champ extreme & 13 *** feel VERY similar. the 7'3MH *** is VERY VERY similar to the dobyns champ extreme 744.

i have a champ extreme DX745 with a lew TP and its light, but my 13 *** 7'3MH with a lews TP is even lighter.

i really think you'll like the *** over the champion, but there both good rods, but i truly feel the 13 *** is better than the dobyns champion.

I love my Dobyns Rods so I'm slightly biased. I've heard good things about the *** rods themselves, but with newer rods and companies the longevity of the company, warranty, and customer service is always a concern.  Just something to think about.

All four. Solved.

That's the best answer. Or, you could buy a whole bunch of those China made reels for $1.09 someone has been talking about. Hey!, and maybe they have some combos, for about $3.00.

Nah... the only Combos you can get for $3.00 come in a bag, and are very tasty....lol.

also, after mentioning the ***, it does have recoil guides adn if you plan on using braid, its super annoying, a very loud sawing sound. the only downside to recoil guides

I have a DX with a Team Lew's Pro and it is by far my best set up. The reel will cast a mile and works outstanding. I would go with a Dobyn's over almost anything. If your kid steps on your Dobyns, send it back with $60 and a new one is on its way.

The rods are debatable, but as someone mentioned recoil guides are a love, hate thing. As for the reel, I'd pick the Chronarch all day long.
