20.5

Got it on a Tequila Sunrise Power Worm with a 1/8oz tungsten weight. Wanted to try something today I haven't used in a while.

Caught some others on a speed worm but none were worth snapping picks of. Fish seemed really active though, they were nailing baitfish on the surface and around the banks.

Nice fish Jax I am gonna break a ribbon tail out just in case tomorrow

I am wrapping up for the night, weather permitting I will fish tomorrow late afternoon. Maybe I will post something, and break the ice on my end.

Been slow up here in Jax (looking at jaxbassers apparently only slow on the west side of town)  went out this evening only had one miss and one dink.  went from senko to fluke to frog.  Only hits were on the frog.  Might give my spots a break tomorrow and get back at it this weekend if weather permits.

That's what I've been doing I've been rotating my spots. I've noticed that I have a lot of success doing this.

Today was the first time in 2 weeks I had time to fish ad the bite was absolutely on fire! I went to a canal near my house and I must have caught 15+ fish in 2 hours!

Lou, are we doing fractional inches? I'm at 16", 17", 17.5" and 18.5" I guess. Or round it down. I'm not sure how we're doing this (gotta squeeze every inch I can if I'm to win LOL :P)

I feel this will be the month things turn for the better! LgMouthGambler and I are hitting it early Sunday morning, hopefully I'll be able to cull some of my numbers :D

Oh yea... I don't want to hear one word about them being under 20" MCS!!!

got this 16" tonight on a wacky senko.  bite was a little better tonight but my frogging spot has gone dry for some reason.  first few times there i was getting 4-6 hits a night, past two times ive had one hit each time, unfortunately missed it tonight. this puts me at 34" so far.

I went out to the park for a little while. I caught a 13.5" little guy on a frog of all things and a 17.5" on the new zoom fluke stick. Puts me at 2 fish for 31"

I like the fluke stick, they didn't go crazy for it today, however I see that it can be productive when the timing is right. I twitched up top at varying speeds. The 17.5" was part of a wolf pack that was working the area, so he got there first and inhaled it. The little fork at the end of the bait gives it sort of a whipping action. Pretty cool. Around some grass/pads, deadly!!

Martin I apologize, I did not give you any props on your catches. You beat your last month's score by 3.5 times already, and that's with only 4 fish. LOL. Nice to see you on the board early.

Weather is suppose to be nice down here this weekend so I am going to hit the water on SAT and SUN late afternoon. I am going to work this section of canal that's close to me with a bunch of low and fallen trees. It's screaming to be frogged. LOL.

Gah! I have so much to do this weekend but after today's posts I feel it's my responsibility to go fishing tomorrow lol. My fiancé begrudging said he would stay home with his kids in the morning so I can get some time in.
