The speed worms are good I forgot about those. Last year in the fall I cleaned up using them. This year for me not so much.

Ok, I usually have 30 minutes after dinner/before kids bedtime to wet a line.  And of all your suggestions I only currently have one spook and a few colors of flukes in my tackle box.  Gonna tie a spook on one rod, a fluke on another and see what happens.  Thanks fellas

Cheers

Did a little fishing while on my lunch break behind the offices off Jim Moran Blvd. Missed two in the 20 mins I had to burn.  One only had the tail of the worm the other broke off.  Funny you guys mention wearing business clothes while out fishing, that's everyday for me when I stop on the way home from work.  On the flip side my wife loves when I come home with stickers/hitch hikers (little green square things) stuck all over the bottom of my trousers. Probably a good idea to buy some knee high rubber boots, for her sake anyways lol.

Boots are on my list for bass pro today esp after the place we hiked through the other day!

Ok so ironic story. I was talking to one of my patients the other day blah about nothing. He somehow mentions he has properties in Tradition. I open my big mouth and say oh, I was just fishing in Tradition on a development that never got finished. He asked the name of it and when I told him he said "that's my property" rofl. I was like oops well I've been fishing there lol.

No we laughed about it. He said he didn't care. If signs pop up then I will know better ;). He doesn't fish :/. He only asked if I saw gators in the area.

The truly surprising thing is I work an hour and a half from where I live so I never would have expected him to say he had property up there lol.

For the record, Martin told me that he might not be able to fish this Sunday. You guys are my witness, so he cant ***** at me that I took someone else in the boat. I don't want him to give me the "guilt trip" again, lol. You never know Lou, you could be up for round 2. (If Martin reads that, he may just change his mind, lol) Otherwise, I might be swimming around in Margate by myself unless someone else wants to join me.

Round 2 would definitely be fun, however, I am going to scout the glades on Saturday, based on some reports that I came across. Martin you can relax..... for now.... ;)

This weather up here has the fish going nuts. Just fished the pond by my house and got 10 fish in about 15 minutes of fishing. Massive schools of bass just crushing everything in the water. Gonna go to my big fish spot tomorrow and hopefully have similar luck. I need to get back in the top 5.

Jax I noticed the same thing today. Went out an hour before dark and they were on fire! The spot I was fishing has a lot of oads but the are dying which caused the water to be really murky. Got into some nice ones all on a white frog.

Going out Saturday morning hopefully I can cull some but it's gonna be hard :)

Weather should be interesting. Low 80's wind from the NE. It sure beats last weekend weather. It was hot!!! This is a make it or break it weekend for many of us. I am pretty pumped, I am expecting a little something...something... from TW tomorrow. Should be fun if gets here in time....

Same here as you guys. Went out from about 5 till dark. It was windy and just as the sun started to set behind the trees, they lit up. No culls, but got alot of nice 16-19"ers. Figured this weather would fire them up. One more day and its off the the glades :D
