Yea man it's rough lol I use these certain type of frog hooks and they are like $6 for 2. I can not tell you how many currently reside in trees around Jacksonville

LOL. There are some around for sure. I haven't caught them yet though. When I do though..  It will be getting mounted.

I went to one place man it was like a pond in the middle of the woods. There was only one clearing you could stand in and cast. I stood there and lost five or six lures to the trees before I gave up. I never went back.

Me too I want to get mine before spawn though if I get one during spawn that's cheating IMO lol. I had one a few months back, image is still stuck in my head, WAYYYYY into the double digits... Bass czar is my witness lol but the mono snapped few yards from shore when she was hung up in a patch of pads... It's been braid ever since then

Man I hate when that happens! It's out of pure stubborness. I've had this happen numerous times losing multiple lures in the same tree trying to cast to a certain spot. I need a boat or a yak

Fish were crazy active again today but I couldn't get anything big enough to cull some fish. My buddy did get a 6lber though and I missed something big.

I also snagged a tree on the backswing of my cast and got a birdnet from hell. Had to cut out $15 worth of suffix 832. As i'm cutting my line out trying to fix it my buddy lands the 6lber.

Went out for an hour again today. Got fish but none big enough again. I guess that might be it for me unless I get lucky enough to squeeze some time in, so heres the one I got on the 15th. Don't remember what I got it on though.

Poles are in the Nissan again lol. Hopefully I will get out after work tonight for an hour but nightfall has been coming quickly. I'm not hopeful really but I have to give it a shot.

This came off a ledge with a 1/4 ounce jig with a  b-bug trailer.  Wind started to pick up and was blowing good.  Had to leave shortly after. 19.5 in.
