I'll be down in broward this weekend fishing from 7 to about 5 on Saturday. All my gym workouts this week will be tailored around viscous hooksets using explosive compound movements. I plan to pull lunkers straight out of the water onto the shore in one sweep. Bass, peas, snakes, snook, tarpon, shark, manatee, sunken ships... Nothing is exempt! Its about to get mo' seriouser, Rod warranties may come into play this weekend!

Yea I knew that you probably did that because I remember you would try to go out b4/ after dropping kids at school and before you go to work so I figured you were dressed for business while in the wilderness lol

Oh Lou, I have the video of all videos picked up for the "Hitler, errrr, Martin finds out Gambler Won" video. I've been thinking up the subtitles for the last few weeks, and each time I watch the original video while imagining the subtitles I laugh my butt off! It will be a block buster... assuming Gambler can actually put his money where his mouth is :P

Sorry about this but I have a fish question for ya'll.  We can get back to who's seeing who on who's boat with who's video camera soon, but for now....

I was at my neighborhood pond last night 6:30.  Did not catch anything.  I did see, however, small schools of bass aggressively chasing bait all the up to the pond edge in about 1ft of water.  It was crazy, I could see the bait scattering all around then three or four larger wakes shooting through; and lots of splashing.  This pond is small and I know I could walk around it and find the bait just like the bass are and I have tried throwing stuff through it, but with no luck - not even hits.

So my question....What would ya'll throw at this situation?

It is like that at most spots around here. Personally my best luck in these cases were a 2-4" curly tail grubt on a light 1/16 or 1/8 jig head. salt/pepper, black, smoke, black with chart tail, white.....But your not gonna win the comp like that though. The big gals don't chase bait, they let it come to them....But it is a blast with my son or on light gear.....Sometimes throwing something through them(I mean vertically falling through - top to bottom) like a fluke, senko or creature, with persistence you can get a strike. The stragglers on the bottom under usually are bigger fish too.

Anything that resembles baitfish. Try Zoom UV Speed Worms, Gambler Flappin Shad or EZ, Flukes, Spooks, etc.

Lol love you opening statement this will make the fishing related post count to 101 lol

I would throw some sort of swim bait. A lot of spots around me are like that and I'm always throwing frogs in the shallows and when they are chasing bait fish they sometimes key in on my frog. But I usually go the swim bait rout (hard/soft) or an ultra vibe worm or rage craw fished on top.

LMG beat me to it, CutlerJay. Throw what he said. You don't catch something on that and its going to be a loooooong day.
