New technique by Martin, SwimSenkTopwater. Â Man what a day! Â LMG and I brought in, conservatively, EIGHTY, that's 80, fish in the boat today!!! OMG it was absolutely on FIRE!!!!!!! I'll let him post the pics (since he hasn't emailed me them yet). Most of them were dinks, I got a few that were worth taking pics of, and he, well, he caught the monster of lake coral springs!!! Nothing I got today was over 16" so no new fish to enter... 1 Quote

CountBassula Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 And yea, I did invent a new technique, Topwater-Swim-Senko LOL, I nailed a nice one while quickly bringing a senko back to the boat, one came up and nailed it! We started off with top water, I was throwing chug bug and LMG was using spook. I got my first 5 or so on the chug bug and then it went quiet, so I figured "what the h3ll! i'm throwing senko!" and nailed another 20-30 that way. After than we switched to lizards and for the next two hours we pulled a fish to the boat almost every minute!!! it was totally mind blowing!!! every second or third cast would produce a fish!!! I was soo tired from fishing today I passed out and just woke up to post the pics. There was soo much excitement today on that water. Martin crushed them today, he couldnt say that he did catch any fish, because he caught more than half of them. Most of them ranging from 1-3 lbs, but great fun all day. 2 Quote

Got skunked Saturday morning was out for 5 hours or so I had no strikes on the frogs and I missed 3 on a senko. Sunday morning we went to Orange Park Country Club and when we first got there Dave had a big one on a frog but she came unhooked as he was going to take her out the water. After that Bass Czar had 2 missed strikes Dave had 2 and I didn't even get a nibble. We stayed and tried few other spots in Orange Park and Flemming Island with absolutely no activity. So me and Derrick headed to our spot and fished for few hours... Same thing! Finally after 6 hours or so of fishing I catch a 17" on a senko. One fish in over 11 hours of fishing in a 48hr period lol it was frustrating. Fortunately my Eagles beat the Bucs so that was good Quote

It's been tough up here in Jacksonville so I had to resort back to senkos lol. It was funny I threw very thing again yesterday and the senko was last that's what I caught my only fish of the weekend on lol it was rough Quote
