That's the same problem Martin had yesterday. 00 Mod told him to go to your profile page and click edit profile, on the left side of the page there are options for you to purge old stuff for the new stuff. Ask martin he knows.

Alright Lou and LMG I picked up a booyah padcrasher jr in cricket frog.

Threw it from 5:45 til about 6:50 has three missed strikes all before 6 am.

waited a few seconds pulled in the slack and felt nothing. didn't even feel like they bumped the frog. But aint too worried I will get it down another time or two. It was fun tho see why yall like it.

But anyway me likes it, walks super easy and very good action. Do either of you trim the skirts?

Biggest complaint was wind knots in braid. I had 3 this morning and only one over the past month since I been using it. I assume it is the slack line reeling vs when I fish texas rig it is not so much. Any way to help eliminate this?

So LMG I saw u spooled with 12# yozuri to do topwater do you fish frogs with it? If I upped it to like 14 or 17# could I use it instead of braid? Why do you get 12, knots strength, it gets stiffer when you up dia?

Gave in on my week off, went out tonight for about an hour. Had two misses on my frog. Moved around and went to my previous hot spot for frogs and was without a hit again. My first maybe 3-4 times there it was on fire, now the past 3-4 times its like there isnt a single fish in the area. Cant quite figure it out. Starting to get nice and cool in the evenings here in jax. Havent fished a fall/winter in florida yet, up north when it got cooler fish would love the top waters.....would you guys say the same is the case here?? AK i saw you mentioned that youre gonna be moving to soft plastics, wasnt sure if the weather was the reason.

Yea weather has a little to do with it but it's mainly because I am gonna be carrying 2 rods so one for frog and the other for some sort of soft plastic. I got a few bags of stuff from BPS that I wanted to try out.

There is nothin you can do to prevent wind knots. The only thing is to spot them before they get too tight.

As far as the pad crushers people usually cut the legs (I have some of them and the live target and that's what I did I trimmed about an inch or less off)

Over in sunrise near 44th street, they are in many of the canal systems now. We've seen and caught them in Plantation off of Cleary Blvd.

Cool MCS, you got the frog and color you wanted. On top of that you some action, with misses but you got action. It happens. I usually trim an inch on each side of the skirt. I use braid for frogging although on one of my outfits that I carry, its spooled with 15 yozuri, my conclusion with frogging with that line is I find it has much more stretch and I lose more than I catch. With braid its the opposite.

I thought I would share this with you guys. I went to BPS today after work to pick up some 12# YoZuri line and some more Spooks, and I came across this. I have never noticed them before, but they happen to have them on an end cap, and I had to pick one up. Its a foldable plastic fish ruler. What I like about it is that its plastic, so it wont harm the slime coat. It folds in half to fit into my BassMember bag that I carry with me while I walk the banks. Also, its wide enough that I can lay a fish on it in the boat and not have to worry about having someone always take the picture for me. I only paid $6.99 for it, and it seems to be the meal ticket for me. It goes up to 24 1/2", so that should be enough length (or will it? lol). Spooled to Lews SD/Carbonlite combo with 12# YoZuri so that I can get back to using topwater baits with it, and am going to pound the banks with Martin tomorrow after work. I will let you guys know how this thing holds up and works out.

OK, this is not letting me upload these pics.

I like that ruler, which end cap was it on? Was it the BPS at Dania?

FSTR nice fish, how long did you consider that fish? From the angle of the pic it looks like 21.5" however if I can move above it can also look like 22" Let me know the number and that's what I will put down. BTW what did you land that pig with?

No, I don't use YoZuri for topwater exclusively. I use 17# Sufix Siege for my topwater rig. I just spooled by around town beater rig with 12# YoZuri so that when I want to throw topwater with it I can, since its the only rig I keep with me at all times in the car. It was spooled with 20# Fluoro, and wont work for topwater. The wind knots that you are experiencing is due to a few things. The Jr is a light frog, and if you don't have the reel properly tuned, you will end up with backlashes (for a baitcaster anyway). If you are throwing the frog on a spinning rig, wll then I cant help you there, because I don't touch that stuff, its bad for your health, lol. For frog fishing, never anything but braid, and try to run at least 50# for proper performance. Between the strong hookset and the fact that it floats, its just the proper thing. I do trim the legs about an inch, and on a diagonal cut as well.  As far as the # for YoZuri, 12 is the best all around that I have found to be able to use for  multiple bait presentations.
