G day, I'm from the great white north and just got bit by the bronze back addiction. I have fished walleye for the past 25 years, this spring I joined our local BASSmasters club and fell in love

I have a question. Smallies were jumping at minnows everywhere, deep, shallow, over cabbage. They were busting for minnows, so I threw a weightless fluke, caught a few but nothing to brag about. What would the experts on bassresource.com throw in this situation?

Water temps were around 55

I was in 10-12 flow

clear slightly stained lake

slight chop on the water

You might want to consider fishing live minnows on a split shot rig, too!

Lipless cranks. If they are chasing bait fish you want something loud and fast to attract them. Spinnerbaits too.
