Ugly game today for both teams. If they don't get their offense going I wouldn't be surprised if the only other win they get this year is against the Redskins. I wonder if any other team has ever started 9-0 and finished 10-6??  :Idontknow:

I agree, I thought the KC defense looked bad today.   While they were able to come up with and score on some timely turnovers, the Bills were able to move the ball against them both running and passing with an injured RB and a rookie QB.  I feel like the Bills would have easily won that game if not for the TO's.

The offense has not looked great all year, and the last two weeks it has been not existent.  Once they play teams that protect the ball and score points, the Chiefs will have a much tougher time winning.   I have faith they can win against the Raiders and San Diego, but I am very concerned about how they will perform against Denver.

In the NFL a win is a win.  The Chiefs have 9 of them right now.  That's more than anyone else, including this year's golden boys, the Broncos.  You can talk all you want to about the Chiefs not being as good as their record states because of their competition, but remember, the Broncos had a tough time with the Jaguars a few weeks ago, but still pulled out the win.  A win is a win.  I'm a Cowboys fan, and I sure wish we had 9 "unimpressive" wins over the 5-4 record we have.

I agree a win is a win and I am happy the Chiefs have found a way to get nine in a row, impressive by any means in the NFL.  I am also realistic and know for the Chiefs to have continued success the remainder of the season they need improvement in a lot of ways.

The Cowboys do seem to find a way to pull defeat from the jaws of victory, they have some bad losses.

I believe Rich Kotite and the Eagles went 7-2 only to end the season 7-9 in his last season as coach.

No, in Philly it was Reid.  He was in control of the players and coaches and once JJ died the defense went downhill fast.  Offense was his strength not defense and it showed.

It was just time for him to move on....

You can't control philly, Reid was the last link, now look at them. You can still be a good coach that has poor player spirit. Way too much prejudice going on there between the players. Seen way to many won games thrown away by lack of effort (ie desean dropped balls because vick was out) or when you can feel the negativity of the team when vince young came out. it's been happening for years.

Who knows maybe they all grew to hate Reid, and plotted against him to get removed, but now look at them, they are worse off...

Maybe you are watching different games but desean was dropping balls becasue he was trying to not get hurt before his contract was renewed and basically came out and said that...Vick was always outtehre when he was healthy so not sure where the Vick piece comes in to play.  VInce Young came out and siad they were a "dream team" and should win it all so that seems pretty positive.

I know for one, Vick loves Reid and other than the Akers thing nobody ever came out against him.

I liked Reid and he will go down as the best coach philly ever had unless someone comes in and wins a superbowl or two but he lost control of the discipline on the team, much like Manuel for the phillies.  He was used to a veteran team with more leeway and team leadership but with the younger guys that wasn't happening so they started losing.  The downhill trend started when guys like McNabb and Dawkins were gone and nobody stepped up.

The defensive coordinator mess was a comedy at best and there was nothing more they could do.

And as far as being worse off....they have the same wins as they did last year after an entire season so they are progressing nicely, especially given an entire new coaching staff, offensive and defensive system.

I think I've seen enough games, haven't missed much since '09, even what I missed I can listen to the radio with Merrill Reese since everything is local. Haven't watched much this season but when I see a clip when it's on  there desean dropping a ball, or foles throwing an interception. Not worth it to get disappointed again so I don't watch.  The last few years you can see the downfall, the lack of effort. It happens. The only thing I didn't like about Reid was he would go off by saying he'll stick with someone 100% and he would do the exact opposite in the upcoming weeks.

Don't forget, the eagles are my team, but this year I figured they came out losing then I came out not watching. Maybe next year.

I hope Reid can get to 10-0 when they face the broncs

Hmmmm....you might want to start watching a little more then because Foles hasn't thrown a pick all season and just tied the NFL record with 7 TD passes in a game and set another slew of records in the process.  Jackson has 3 drops on 80 targets on the season which puts him at a 3.8% drop rate which is near tops in the league.

Anyways, I don't think it matters to much but they are getting better each week and playing hard.  This week is a huge test and they should be able to win this game and if they do, it could start something for them.  Do i think they are a SB contender, not even close but at least they are fun to watch.

I find it hard to think of the Chiefs as an elite team. The playoffs are a whole different game. I wouldn't be concerned if the Patriots were playing the Chiefs in the playoffs.

It is hard to think because of their recent play but they lead the league in points allowed at an astonishing 12.3 a game and they run the ball and can keep control of the clock.  They play a playoff style of football but until they beat denver in week 11 they won't get any credit.

It will be interesting to see how the afc plays out. Peyton hasnt faired too well over the years against good defensive teams come playoff time. Other than the chiefs nobody matches up well with Denver. New Englands D lost its heart and soul when Wilfork went down.

Chiefs Defense is arguably the best in the league right now. Their offense revolves around jamall charles. alex smith is a great QB but is not a rivers/romo type to be able to drive the field fast and long. not entirely his fault as his WR options aren't bad but not the same caliber of rivers/romo. IF they can shut down peyton in a couple weeks it should be a great game. Denver has an okay, not great, rush defense and to put it lightly, a minnesota-esq seconday which should improve /w (i forgot his name) coming back. If they are unable to stop Peyton from "going Peyton" KC doesn't have a chance. I personally don't think they will be able to completely shutdown peyton as he has so many sure fire weapons /w decker/thomas/thomas/welker/moreno but i do think they will keep him in more check that he is used to. I cannot WAIT until this gameon sunday night next week. should be a great one. and to think they even play again 2 weeks after.  what andy reid has done with this team is incredible. really glad reid was given a second chance after philly. he's a good coach and philly wasn't his fault, clearly.

Reid wasn't the reason entirely but he played a biiiiiig part since he was in control of personnel and coaching staff.  I like the guy and am rooting for the big walrus every week as long as they aren't playing the Eagles.

Jamal charles is the new brian westbrook. Guy never got enogh credit IMO. As a Dallas fan I watched many of those screen passes he caught then turn upfield and blow by the D over the years.

At this time they are the best team in pro football.

But as you know crazy things happen in the second half of the season and in the playoffs.

he can't catch passes like westbrook or pick up the blitz as well just yet but he is definitely a better north south type runner.

He's caught 47 balls through 9 games that's pretty dang good. My point is he's perfect for Reids O.

I agree he fits in well and catches a lot of balls in the flat or screens but Westbrook could line up at wide receiver and you woudln't lose anything.

I like Charles and watching him play for sure.  He is a play hard every down type of back
