Siebert Outdoors Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 That is a long wide crack in fiberglass. I would have that professionally done especially if its in the glass and not the gel coat. Quote

Mac You may be better off getting the insurance check and buying a new hull and transferring your motor etc over to a new hull, that's a bad spot to have a crack. Good luck and keep us in the loop! Chris S Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 By new hull you mean just the boat? Yep, with the crack you are describing with out a pic to look at you may be just asking for issues later on down the road. Can you post a pic of your boat? Quote
macmichael Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Insurance came through. They totalled her. I took the check and am having her fixed. Still a good boat. Thanks for all the help. Mac Quote
