fishguy613 Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 my dad got a pretty good pike at the lake last weekend, I wasn't there so he didn't have my scale but he had a measuring tape and it was 37'' what would you say this weighs? my biggest was probably only 8ish pounds so far, this one looks to be at least 10-13 Quote
Super User Scott F Posted September 25, 2013 Super User Posted September 25, 2013 35 incher's generally weigh about 10 pounds, so your guess of 10 to 13 is probably pretty close. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 25, 2013 Global Moderator Posted September 25, 2013 I'd say you're in the right ballpark! My biggest in Canada was 36" and 12 something pounds. Quote
fishguy613 Posted September 25, 2013 Author Posted September 25, 2013 thanks! yeah this is the largest we have seen in our lake, but i know they get substantially larger in other bodies of water in ontario. Quote
Super User Marty Posted September 26, 2013 Super User Posted September 26, 2013 According to the New York length-weight charts, an average 37" pike would weigh 10-6. Quote
