When fishing flukes, how do you typically rig and fish them.  Also what colors and in what conditions have you had luck fishing them.

When I use a Super Fluke, I use a Gammy Superline EWG 5/0 hook. When I use a Fluke, I use a Texposer 3/0 or 4/0 hook. Pearl white is the color I use the most. 75% of the time I use them weighless. When I am after schooling bass, I use a shank weighted Gammy 4/0 EWG after they go down to follow up a Rat-L-Trap. The retrieve I use is the same as with a suspending hard jerkbait.

A Fluke and a Super Fluke are extremely different baits.  A fluke is much more subtle.

The way I fish a Fluke or a 4" Fin-s-fish is on 6-8lb mono with a fast action 6'6" spinning rod.  My most productive color is baby bass and I rig it weightless on a 1/0 or 2/0 EWG hook.  I like to fish it around brush, docks, and other structure and use little twitches and very long pauses.

I will also fish it on a jig head in deeper water and "pop" it along the bottom.

Good luck!
