Anyone have a site to get #5 Lucky Craft Trebels or a quality replacement in the same weight? I have been grabbing up pointer 100's and their site has the hook size listed as #5.

I found one pack on fleabay but that's about it.

Direct from VMC  http://www.rapala.com/VMC/Hooks/Treble/vmc-hooks-treble,default,sc.html

or most retailers: BPS, DSG, etc.  However, I suggest replacing

with Katsuage: http://www.megabassusa.com/news/guide-upgrading-jerkbait-hooks

Thanks Kent.

I didn't know if the VMC made a specialty hook for LC.

I also got a Megabass 95, I'll check out those hooks.

Lucky Craft hooks aren't straight VMCs - they are Daiichi sharpened VMCs.  I replace with Owner hooks.

Which model do you use to match the LC #5's?

ST-36 #4 work fine.

I'm pretty sure those are the exact ones I used on a Vision 110 and they balanced perfectly.

I actually prefer the #5 VMC for the purpose.  I can't get my baits to suspend the same otherwise.

I'm near certain that, unless you had a High Rise Vision 110, the #4 ST36 will make the bait sink.  The Katsuage Outbarb trebles are a relatively fine diameter hook, and don't have a of weight in the #6.

I'm not sure where to get the #5's.  You do have to be pretty careful with jerkbait hooks, any minute change in weight will effect the suspending properties of the bait.

Thanks. I think for now I am going to stick with the #5's for the time being and work with some others.
